President's Circle Reception Honors VSU Donors

VALDOSTA -- The Valdosta State University Foundation, Inc. recognized donors during the President’s Circle reception on Oct. 28. More than 150 donors attended this year’s event, which was hosted by President Patrick J. Schloss and Dr. Maureen Schloss at their home.

The reception honored donors whose annual gifts to the university totaled $1,000 or more, lifetime donors whose gifts exceed $10,000, or members of the Order of the Dome.

Guests were entertained by Professor of History Dr. David Williams and his wife, Teresa, administrative coordinator in the Graduate School, with classical sounds from the guitar and hammered dulcimer. In addition, the university faculty jazz ensemble performed, as guests enjoyed an array of culinary delights from around the world.
