20th Annual Pops in the Park

VALDOSTA -- Enjoy the soulful rhythms of the 20th Annual Pops in
the Park from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, the Fine Arts
Amphitheater.
Pack a picnic dinner and visit with friends and family as Valdosta
State University’s Jazz Ensemble, Faculty Jazz Combo, New Jazz
Ensemble, Steel Drum Band, and The Spotlights perform for the
crowd. Featured artist and VSU alumnus, Brent Whiten, will perform
spirited trumpet solos.
Participants are encouraged to purchase a table, which seats eight,
for $120. Individual tickets, which may also be purchased the night
of the event, cost $15 for adults and $8 for students and senior

In the event of rain, the entertainment will move inside the
Fine Arts Building.
