Study Abroad Fair Sept. 23

VALDOSTA -- The Office of International Programs will host a Study Abroad Fair from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, on the Pedestrian Mall between West and Ashley halls.

Students are invited to browse information tables to learn how they can travel around the world as they take classes toward their major. The office will provide information about summer study abroad programs as well as semester and year-long exchange programs. Professors and students who have participated in study abroad programs will be on hand to answer questions and share their experiences.

Programs are available in dozens of countries in a variety of disciplines, including business, history, political science, art, foreign language, geography, psychology, biology. HOPE applies toward study abroad, and students do not need to be fluent in a foreign language to participate in most of the study abroad programs.

For more information about study abroad programs through VSU, go to www.valdosta.edu/cip and click on the Study Abroad link or call 333-7410.
