Residence Hall Alert
VALDOSTA - A series of small and subsequently contained fires
have occurred in Langdale Residence Hall at Valdosta State
University. None of the fires occurred in residential rooms.
Due to the early detection, the fires did not pose a significant
threat to health, life or property. The fires are being
investigated by the Valdosta City Fire Department and VSU
Police.
The University is offering a $10,000 reward leading to the
apprehension and conviction of any individual responsible for these
fires. Currently, University Police and Residence Life are engaging
in patrols of Langdale Hall.
