Parking Advisory for Wednesday, Aug. 13

VALDOSTA - While approximately 1,500 student move into residence halls, Valdosta State University community members are encouraged to be conscious of the traffic and parking issues that may arise.

VSU community members are encouraged to avoid parking lots on main campus and Georgia Avenue during move-in day Wednesday, Aug. 13. Faculty and staff members will be able to park near the Office of Admissions, the University Center, the Alumni House and the Oak Street lot.
Shuttle transportation will be provided from the Oak Street lot and other off campus lots to the main entrance on North Patterson Street.

Also, please be aware of the increased traffic flow created by families moving students into the residence halls and avoid traveling on North Oak Street and Georgia Avenue during commutes on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
