Nominations for COSA Reps Due Thursday
VALDOSTA - The Council on Staff Affairs at Valdosta State
University is soliciting nominations for four vacancies by
Thursday, April 24 and planning online elections from April 28
through May 2.
Open positions include one representative from the Division of
Academic Affairs and three from the Division of Finance and
Administration, each serving a 4-year term. Eligible nominees must
be full-time, benefited staff members, who have been employed
longer than 6 months. Anyone eligible working in one of these
areas, is invites to run for an open positions.
Online elections will run April 28 through May 2 with paper ballots
available at the University Center and Plan Operations from 8 a.m.
until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29. New council members will be
announced at the regular COSA meeting on June 10.
COSA exists to advance the mission of the university as a whole.
The representatives participate in the process of University
governance and serve on various University committees. Nomination
