Presidential Search and Advisory Committee to hold public forum
The Presidential Search and Advisory Committee, charged with
assisting in the selection of Valdosta State University’s next
president, will hold a public forum on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at
1 p.m. in the University Center Magnolia Room. Members of the
Presidential Search and Advisory Committee will be present at the
public forum to address questions regarding the search and
selection process in addition to soliciting feedback from the
group.
The University System of Georgia will announce members of the
search and advisory committee on January 8, 2008 at approximately 9
a.m., via its Web site at http://www.usg.edu/ .
A national search is being conducted to replace VSU President
Ronald M. Zaccari, who announced on November 14, 2007 that he would
retire on June 30, 2008. Parker Executive Search of Atlanta will
assist the committee in the search and recruitment process.
