In Memoriam - Dr. Joan W. Futch
Dr. Joan W. Futch, a retired faculty member in Valdosta State University’s College of Nursing, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2007. Funeral services for Dr. Futch will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Jeff Davis County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to the VSU Foundation, Inc. (College of Nursing) 1500 N.
