VSU's 31st Annual International Dinner and Show

Valdosta State University’s Society for International Students, along with the Valdosta Asian Cultural Association (VACA), will present the 31st Annual International Dinner and Show on March 2, beginning at 7 pm in the James H. Rainwater Conference Center.

The buffet-style dinner will feature dishes from over 30 countries, and the entertainment show, titled “Artists of the World,” will feature three special guests: an Indonesian Folk Dance group, a Ukraine Folk Dance group, and Mrs. Li Li, a Chinese acrobat.

“The Annual International Dinner is not only an entertaining event but also an educational one,” Irina McClellan, international student advisor, said. “In addition to sharing their cultures and traditions, international students bring the world closer to the Valdosta community, expand the horizons and enrich lives of those who otherwise are not able to travel and interact with people from other countries and parts of the world.”

Anyone wishing to attend must purchase a ticket for $20 from the Center for International Programs office, located at 204 Georgia Avenue. For more information, please contact the Center for International Programs at (229) 333-7410.
