Mighty Times at Valdosta State University
The Office of Legal Affairs at Valdosta Sate University will
show the 2003 Oscar nominated documentary "Mighty Times: The Legacy
of Rosa Parks," by Hudson and Houston, on Tuesday, February 21, at
7 p.m., in the University Center's Cypress Room.
The film explores the events that led to the landmark case of
Browder v. Gayle which eliminated segregation in the Montgomery
public bus system.
This event, which is taking place during VSU's centennial year, is
free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served
