Valdosta State University hosts 'Minding Your Own Business'

Jesse Maranville, vice president of marketing for Georgia Gulf Sulfur, will present "Minding Your Own Business" as part of the Harley Langdale Jr., College of Business Administration lecture series at Valdosta State University, on Thursday, January 26, 2006, at 11 a.m. in the Pound Hall Auditorium.

The south Georgian graduated from Valdosta State College in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and worked several years in the banking and sales industries. Maranville joined the sales staff of the Griffin Corporation in 1976 and became the product manager of the sulfur division in 1978. In 1982, Maranville became a partner in Georgia Gulf Sulfur, where he is currently the vice president of marketing.

The Langdale Lecture Series includes presentations that feature methods for success in business and life. Taking place during VSU's centennial year, "Minding Your Own Business," is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Langdale College of Business at 333-5991.
