Valdosta State University international students to participate inthirteenth annual City of Valdosta International Fair
The thirteen annual City of Valdosta International Fair will
take place on Saturday, March 6, 2004 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
at the Colonial Mall Valdosta in the open area in front of the Belk
store. The International Fair is a community-wide event celebrating
the diversity of cultures and countries represented in the Valdosta
area.
International students from Valdosta State University and students
from local schools will provide displays and performances based on
the cultures of many countries. This year about 30 international
students representing 20 different countries will participate in
the Fair. The program featuring Asian, African, Belizean, and
Turkmen performances starts at 12:00 Noon.
The Valdosta International Fair is a wonderful opportunity to meet
people from different parts of the world and learn about their
countries. All events at the Fair are free and open to the
public.
