Senior art exhibit opens April 13
The Valdosta State University invites the community to attend
the opening reception of "Open" an exhibit featuring works of art
from 11 graduating seniors, on April 13, from 2-4 p.m., in the Art
Gallery (Fine Arts Building). The exhibit will continue through May
5 and is open to the public free of charge.
This year's exhibit will feature a variety of media including
paintings, ceramics, Web design animation, sculpture, graphic
design, jewelry and printmaking.
Featured artist include Tracy Amos, Matt Armstrong, Maria Baraybar,
Kym Branch, Michelle Massey, Justin Niederkorn (Baker), Stephanie
Pickens, Chris Raulerson, Charles Reid, Tatiana Ripingill and
Jessica R. Walzak.
The Gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and
Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact the Art
