Spring break fair provides useful information

Valdosta State University's office of Alcohol and Other Drug Education will sponsor "Safe Spring Break Fair" on Thursday, March 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Palms Quad.

The theme of this year's fair is "kNOw Boundaries" and will focus on informing students on how to exercise good judgment, while having an enjoyable spring break. The fair will specifically address issues concerning alcohol and drug use, limiting sun exposure and sexual responsibility.

Campus and community agencies will provide information, and Public Safety officers will conduct mock DUI driving demonstrations. Students will be encouraged to sign a pledge card stating they will make responsible choices during spring break.
