Students learn the value of free enterprise
Students from local high schools will participate in Valdosta
State University's fourth annual Free Enterprise Bowl, sponsored by
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), on Feb. 27, 9 a.m. to 3:30
p.m., in the University Center Theater.
The morning session will feature a question and answer competition
dealing with supply and demand, opportunity costs, taxes,
international trade, types of businesses and
entrepreneurship.
The afternoon session will focus on teams presenting their business
plan, which will be judged based on presentation skills, content of
the business plan, creativity, professional dress and viability of
the product.
An award ceremony will follow at the close of the competition.
