President Zaccari addresses university community at the beginningof fall semester

President Ronald M. Zaccari will deliver his ?State of the University? address on Monday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m., in the Whitehead Auditorium (Fine Arts Building).

VSU's cable channel 12 will carry the address live and it will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. The speech will also be Webcast on http://vsutv.valdosta.edu/.

The opening address by Zaccari marks the beginning of a series of receptions and meetings scheduled for the 470 new and returning faculty members.

Students will begin converging on campus Aug. 16, with the official opening of the residence halls at 10 a.m.
