VSU to host Model U.N. Conference
Valdosta State University will host a Model United Nations
Conference on Friday, Mar. 8 in the University Center from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Approximately 200 students from local middle and high
schools will be in attendance.
Students will represent member countries of the United Nations in
four committees; each committee will discuss three topics. The goal
is for students to authentically replicate the foreign policy
positions of the countries they are representing and vote on
resolutions that produce solutions to the problems they are
discussing.
