VSU planetarium announces upcoming show
The Valdosta State University Planetarium will host ?Global
Warming: A Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight,? the third show of the
2001-2002 series on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. The theme of this
year's planetarium series is ?Hot Topics on Earth and in
Space.?
Assistant professors Cecilia Barnbaum and Judy Grable, Physics,
Astronomy and Geosciences, will present the show. They will examine
some of the disturbing trends in the climate of our home planet,
and their implications for mankind's survival.
The planetarium is located on the third floor of Nevins Hall, room
3007. All shows are open to the public and are free of charge.
Seating is limited to 65.
