Elizabeth Deborah McCullers of Macon, Georgia, is the recipient of Valdosta State University’s 2017 Outstanding Student in the Arts Award.

VSU Camden Center Celebrates 2017 Commencement June 2
Valdosta State University will celebrate the academic achievements of 14 students when the Camden Center hosts its 2017 commencement ceremony at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 2.
Nephina Performs May 21 at First Baptist Church
Nephina, featuring Nina Lutz on violin and Nephtali Santiago on guitar, will perform in concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, at “the acoustically brilliant” First Baptist Church in Downtown Valdosta. Admission is free of charge and open to the public.
VSU Faculty, Students to Perform at MAD Festival May 12-13
Sarah Wildes Arnett and Melissa Pihos have been selected to showcase the diversity and excellence of Valdosta State University’s dance scene at the 23rd annual Modern Atlanta Dance Festival (MAD) May 12-13.
PSST! Presents Steins and Stems Fundraiser May 15
Peach State Summer Theatre will host Steins and Stems, a beer and wine tasting event, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, May 15, at Friends Grille + Bar. Proceeds will benefit the professional summer stock theatre program.
