Amanda Thompson

Amanda Thompson is originally from Blackshear, Georgia. A two-time product of the University System of Georgia (University of West Georgia and Valdosta State University), she has worked in higher education post-undergraduate since 2011 at various institutions. She is pleased to continue ensuring residents have a positive and memorable experience while living on campus in our residence halls.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys using social media, primarily Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. She loves a good meme, gif, mukbang, dance or beauty video, and most of all joy and laughter! She is a beauty enthusiast (hair and lipstick) and a dance enthusiast. She enjoys board games, card games, and social justice reading/conversations. Be sure to say "hello" if you see her on campus and always join in with a move or two if you catch her dancing.
