Mark Errol is a Lecturer in Ceramics and has also contributed to Senior Capstone classes, having taught Professional Preparations as well as Senior Presentation and Senior Exhibition at Valdosta State University. Mark has also taught in the Foundations area, teaching 3D Design and Arts 1100, Introduction to the Visual Arts. Starting in 2022, Mark also became the Gallery Director of the Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery at VSU.  He earned his B.F.A from The State University of New York, New Paltz in Ceramics and his M.F.A, also in Ceramics from Georgia State University in Atlanta GA. He is currently a M.A candidate at Kennesaw State University in GA with a concentration in Museum Studies. 

Mark is active in his research, having exhibited his ceramic functional works extensively in the U.S as well as internationally. He has taught at various arts and craft centers such as Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg TN, and The Morean Center for Ceramics in St. Petersburg Fl. Mark has been a visiting artist and lecturer at The Ceramics Program at Harvard, the University of North Florida as well as the University of Alabama. 

Mark is also the co-owner of Plough Gallery in Tifton GA.
